1.20.10 - Lump, hickory, 31 outside temp, cooker stuck at 240 for all 8.5 hours of the cook. Still at 240 two hours later

   

Scandinavian Almond Cake, I added orange juice and grated orange peel to the original recipe. I liked it, Ellen thought ok at best. I also cut out 1/4 cup of sugar and lowered the amount of almond extract. I liked this version a lot.

Mother's Day brisket. Cut off a piece of the flat and trimmed, looking for best way to smoke trimmed flat, if there is one.
